Class Descriptions for:
Chinese Lanterns in Watercolor 10/17/2020

Hudson Valley Apples in Watercolor, and Colored Pencil 11/7/2020

Sprig of Holly 12/5/2020

These classes will teach the basic watercolor techniques for painting realistic Botanical subjects as we work from a photograph I have carefully selected and will send to you. I will demonstrate how to paint a smooth watercolor wash, how to shade a form to make it look 3D, and later add details in color pencils. This online course will offer live demonstrations and individual feedback, with enough time to complete a painting.

Instructions for tracing and transferring the outline drawing to the watercolor paper will be sent to enrolled students with the reference photo for each class.
